Sock Fashion Shows – Dynamic Fashion Show

Team Up For Tomorrow was the theme for a dynamic fashion show held on Sunday evening, May 4, at the 2003 International Hosiery Exposition at the Charlotte Convention Center. Close to 500 industry executives and retailers attended the high-energy runway event, which provided key directional trends in men’s, women’s and children’s hosiery for Fall 2003 and beyond.

The theatrical presentation highlighted close to 100 integrated hosiery and apparel fashions featuring broad range of lifestyles. The show encompassed a complete range of hosiery products – from The Hosiery Association’s diverse membership – coordinated with the latest ready-to-wear, sportswear and active wear designs.

The ‘Team Up For Tomorrow’ Fashion Show provided a dramatic overview of the creative potential that exists within our industry, commented Sally F. Kay, president of The Hosiery Association. It captured the vibrancy of our members – the hosiery manufacturers and suppliers – for everyone in the world of hosiery to see.

Virtually the entire spectrum of hosiery products was highlighted: men’s, women’s and children’s socks, sheers, tights, pantyhose and seamless body-size apparel. These items were incorporated into a global fashion perspective – in scenes ranging from active sports to elegant business settings to sophisticated evening wear.
