Gold Toe Brands, Inc. announced today the development of two new breakthrough men’s leg wear product lines: Gold Toe ADC™ and Gold Toe MAX™. The new Gold Toe ADC (All Day Comfort) sock line, featuring Outlast® phase-change fabric technology, is the first and only men’s dress, casual sock to contain these smart fibers. Through an exclusive agreement with Outlast, Gold Toe brings real innovation to department store dress, casual socks. Gold Toe ADC keeps feet comfortable by absorbing, storing and releasing heat as needed. MAX, Gold Toe’s new line of men’s athletic socks, features smart fabric technologies (Outlast and CoolMax®) to keep feet cool and dry and stress support construction for maximum comfort. Providing more differentiation and advanced construction features, Gold Toe MAX is the next evolutionary step for department stores’ traditional athletic sock offering. Gold Toe ADC and Gold Toe MAX, like all Gold Toe products, will be available exclusively at department stores nationwide in July 2003. These new products provide a level of technology and performance previously unavailable in department store socks. Gold Toe is bringing the first new technological innovation to the department store sock category in more than a decade. That means retailers carrying the Gold Toe ADC and MAX lines will be able to attract a wider consumer base, said Trish McHale, vice president of marketing for Gold Toe.
