Epic is a company that markets a complete line of high-performance shoes, socks and apparel to the serious soccer players and teams. They are a European company manufacturing and selling all the soccer related clothing, accessories, balls, nets, shoes, pumps and everything else that may be related to the game. One of their most popular lines is Epic socks, which are designed in all the colours soccer teams will require, and in a variety of styles and fabrics. The Epic sock is one that is designed specifically for soccer, and will provide for maximum comfort and support, and will of course accommodate the shin guard perfectly. Most of their socks are made from 80% acrylic fibres, but they also market nylon and some cotton tube socks. Although they have plain coloured socks, they also market a line of various sock designs that incorporate horizontal bars, stripes and even vertical lightning bolts. Their socks frequently have reinforced elastic ankle supports and terry padded calves. A flat knit construction on the top of the sock foot allows for a truer shoe fit and gives an improved ability to feel the ball on the top of the foot. The Epic Soccer Company markets their socks and other products primarily to the soccer players and leagues. Many of their socks and sweaters are in fact sold as a team package, with quantities of 12 as the standard.
