Brooks Sports, Inc. is a company that designs and markets their line of high-performance running shoes, apparel and accessories worldwide. First founded in 1914, Brooks is headquartered near Seattle, and is focused entirely on runners’ needs. The company is known primarily for engineering its men’s and women’s footwear to provide the best possible fit for runners. Today they also make and sell hosiery, and Brooks socks ensure the best fit between feet and the running shoe.

The best line Brooks sock is built anatomically correct with right and left socks for improved fit and comfort. These top line socks includes the HVAC Glycerin model, which is 80% textured nylon and is designed to effectively move heat away from the foot. There is also the Adrenaline GTS that is a cushioned sock built to accommodate runners and walkers with high arches. The HVAC Racer is their lightweight racing sock, and the Brooks Beast model is cushioned from heel to toe to accommodate runners and walkers with flat arches. The Adrenaline socks meanwhile accommodate runners and walkers with medium arches. The Burn and Racer socks are mid point in the Brooks range and offer most of the same features of the higher priced socks. The entry level and less expensive running socks are the Runner Quarter, the Run World Run Quarter and Runner Padded Crew which while very well featured, do not include the anatomical fit.

These socks are designed to compliment the Brooks running shoes, by providing excellent support, padding and moisture wicking. These socks use Coolmax, Twister yarn (a polyester/nylon blend), spandex, rubber and their patented X-Static silver fibre designed to channel heat away.
