Sandal Socks – Safer Than Barefoot |
|
October 03, 2005 By: William Pensworth Sandal Socks – Safer Than BarefootSummer season brings with it sandals, and frequently the accompanying discomfort, irritations and blisters of wearing them. A new kind of sandle socks means that women, and men for that matter, will no longer have to feel uncomfortable and put their feet at risk while maintaining style and beauty. Men had mostly avoided these discomfort issues by wearing tube socks and the like, but were oblivious to the fashion faux pas it created. Women and men now have this new product that permits them the protection that wearing a sock provides, but with new fun colours and designs that compliment the sandal. When thong socks were first marketed, they addressed the protection of the toe area where the sandal was gripped. These very fun and often highly coloured split-toe socks are very comfortable and yet take up no appreciable room in the sandal. Manufacturers then noted that they needed a sock to provide comfort and protection and still look good while in a sandal. These new coloured and sheer designs can be bought for every imaginable casual shoe, and will look great with anything from clogs to lightweight slingbacks. These non-skid, cushioning or wicking socks that look great in these sandals are now made in a variety of fabrics such as wool, fleece and nylon. These very useful socks are available today at many department stores, all sock outlets and on line. They are manufactured and marketed by numerous companies, and in particular at Footsmart and Polartec for the warmer variety. Try different types of socks from several manufacturers until you find the ones that meet your requirements. Also see; fashion ankle socks.About
