Hanes Easy Wear Sock – Easy Wear, Easy Sort

Just in time for Mother's Day, Olympic gold-medalist Mary Lou Retton and Hanes hosted a fashion show of easy-wear, easy-care clothing for the entire family this morning at the W New York Hotel. The show featured head-to-toe fashions, from the popular Hanes character underwear for boys and girls to colorful mix n' match cotton separates from Hanes Her Way as well as new Hanes sneakers and casual shoes with specially designed soles and StayClean uppers.

Retton, who is expecting her fourth child this summer, shared her own personal anecdotes as a busy mom. Moms are busier than ever, and when you can make the basics easier -- like getting the kids dressed for school, it makes all the difference in the world. Hanes is great because they make clothes that my girls and I all agree on.

During the show, Retton also announced findings from a recent national Hanes survey of moms conducted by Roper ASW, including the fact that more than 65 percent of moms would describe themselves as Jill-of-all-Trades, reflecting the many facets of a mom's busy day. Moms also reported they would love to take a break from cleaning as a nice way to celebrate Mother's Day on May 12. Moms reported that the person that was hardest to shop for was her husband with daughters and sons being the easiest to shop for.

I enjoy shopping for my daughters, said Retton, who has three young girls. We all like bright colors and fun prints - styles like the mix n' match separates from Hanes Her Way are especially great when we travel because they are so versatile.
